BOHANNAN RAISES OVER $1.050M IN Q3
Bohannan Continues to Smash Fundraising Records In Iowa
Iowa City, IA – Today, Christina Bohannan announced raising over $1.050 million for the third quarter of 2025. The amount crushes previous off-year fundraising records for Iowa challengers. A top fundraiser in a Toss Up seat, Bohannan represents one of the best flip opportunities in 2026. Her campaign is funded by grassroots donors who believe in her Iowa values and fierce support for the middle class– and not by one dime of corporate PAC money.
“Thanks to each and every one of you who contributed to our campaign to flip this seat and put Iowa first,” said Christina Bohannan. “Miller-Meeks’ campaign is well-funded by big corporations, billionaires, and party bosses because she does their bidding in Washington DC. We’re showing that we can win this race the right way and for the right reasons – with the support of hardworking people who are ready to get costs down, defend the middle class, and actually put Iowa first. And we’re just getting started.”

Iowa’s 1st Congressional District contains the cities of Davenport, Iowa City, Burlington, and Indianola. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks faces a rematch against Christina Bohannan, who came within 0.2% of defeating the incumbent in 2024. Bohannan lost by just 799 votes out of 413,000 and outperformed the top of the ticket by over 8 points – more than any other Red-to-Blue candidate in the country. National forecasters, including the Cook Political Report, universally rate this district as a Toss-Up for 2026. With Rep. Miller-Meeks showing historic weakness at just 31% favorability and facing growing opposition even within her own party, Bohannan has the best opportunity to flip a Republican seat in the country.
